The treatment I had done at Redhead Orthodontics was for myself. I chose Dr Redhead over a large orthodontic centre near me mainly for the following reasons:
1. He has work friendly appointments (early morning and evening on Fridays).
2. Having your teeth moved can be an unnerving experience and Dr Redhead’s website contained enough non-generic information about himself and his practice to convince me that he was the right choice. In addition to this, his website also has an FAQs page which provided an interesting and informative distraction from the usual about what types of braces are available.
Having finished treatment several months ago, I can provide the following comments on my experience:
1. First things first: I am happy with the result and now smile with confidence.
2. Orthodontic treatment is obviously not cheap. However, given his central location, I found that his fee was reasonable in comparison to others in London and, in particular, to the large and popular centre near my home.
3. On the advice of Dr Redhead, I did not get full braces (although I was given the option). I instead had fixed sectional braces on my top front teeth.
4. He will always explain to you what he is about to do to your teeth and, where necessary, why before he does it.
5. I found Dr Redhead to be technically knowledgeable and meticulous in his work.
